I have a son and his name is Mowgli, Siddharth reveals

Siddharth retorts to the myriad rumours about his personal life and introduces his son - his pet dog Mowgli 

It's been quite some time since Siddharth made a public appearance in Hyderabad and the actor grabbed quite a few eyeballs at a recent event, when he spoke about his son! "Yes, I have a son, but he has four legs and a crooked tail. His name is Mowgli. He's 10 years old and I found him near a slum. I rescued him and he rescued me with his unconditional love and warmth. He's a sweet dog and also the biggest coward in the world, which he covers up with his loud bark," the actor said, much to everyone's surprise, about his pet. 

For those who came in late, the actor was trying to lay at rest rumours about his children from his previous marriage. Last month, the actor set tongues wagging when he lashed out at rumour mongers for dragging his family into needless controversies. "So many rumours about me and my family these past few days. I think I've become numb. Have some respect. Similar lies written about me a decade ago led to people still believing I have teenage children. One irresponsible article goes a long way (sic)," Siddharth had posted on his micro-blogging page.

Now that Siddharth has made it loud and clear about the only 'son' in his life, it remains to be seen if the rumours will be put to rest. Currently, he has three films lined up for release in Tamil including Jigarthanda, Kaaviya Thalaivan and the remake of Lucia, all of which might release in Telugu as well later this year.
