South releases "Kochadaiiyaan" and "Manam" continue to dominate the overseas market, over Hindi release "Heropanti".
Rajinikanth-Deepika Padukone starrer "Kochadaiiyaan" has raked in ₹8.25 crore from over five countries, including Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, US-Canada and UK-Ireland.
Telugu film "Manam" starring Nagarjuna is also a hit overseas. The film was released in the UK-Ireland region on 30 May, from where it accumulated ₹10.96 lakh (£ 11,055). From the US-Canada region "Manam" raked in ₹8.20 crore.
"#Manam [Telugu] continues its super run in USA. Wk 2: Fri $ 73,340, Sat $ 113,891, Sun $ 55,670, Mon $ 7,411. Total: $ 1,381,809 [₹ 8.20 cr]," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
However, Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer "Heropanti" is faring well only in the UAE-GCC circuit. The film's second weekend total from UAE-GCC market is more than its combined total from US-Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysian markets.
"#Heropanti is faring very well in UAE-GCC. Total after Wknd 2: approx AED 1.7 million [₹ 2.74 cr]. Excellent," Adarsh tweeted.
Meanwhile, the masala entertainer is going strong in its second week in India. The film will soon cross the half-century mark at the domestic box office and become a superhit.

Meanwhile, National Award winner Rajkumar Rao's "Citylights" box office report is decent enough. The film is going steady at the box office, earning ₹4.84 crore in five days.
"Citylights started on slow note on Friday, but it picked up on Saturday and Sunday. The IPL final did affect the film's business but it has done decent business," exhibitor Rajesh Thadani told Mid-Day.
But Adarsh feels the film could have done better, keeping in mind the fact that it comes from the "Shahid" team of Hansal Mehta and Rao. The film also received positive reviews from critics but failed to transfer it into box office numbers.

"X Men: Days of Future Past, on the other hand, has fared better in its second week than Citylights in its first week," Adarsh told Mid-Day.
