Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha's "Holiday – A Soldier is Never Off Duty" is fast approaching the ₹100-crore mark in India.
"Holiday", which hit the screens on 6 June, has been doing good business even in its second weekend. The film minted ₹4.34 crore on its second Friday (13 June) and witnessed a huge growth in its business on Saturday. The action entertainer earned ₹6.06 crore on 14 June taking its nine-day total to ₹79.09 crore at the Indian box office.The film is all set to enter the ₹100-crore club soon.

Despite new releases, "Holiday" continued its good run in its second weekend at the box office. The Akshay starrer emerged as the third biggest grosser of 2014 by surpassing "Gunday" lifetime collection which amounts to ₹78.60 crore.
It remains to be seen if "Holiday" will be able to beat "2 States" and "Jai Ho" collections, which stand at ₹102.13 crore and ₹116 crore, respectively.
The success of "Holiday" should bring in relief for Akshay, whose last release "Boss" opened to average reviews and did not perform well at the box office. The film minted only ₹54.15 crore as its lifetime collections.
"Holiday" released nearly eight months after "Boss" made it to theatres. Though the action entertainer received mixed response from the critics, it appears to have impressed the fans. The Akshay starrer is expected to continue its successful run at the box office for at least another week until Saif Ali Khan-Ritesh Deshmukh-Ram Kapoor's "Humshakals" hits the screens.
Fugly
Bollywood comedy drama "Fugly", starring Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh and Kiara Advani, witnessed growth in its collections on Saturday.
"Fugly" minted ₹2.95 crore on the first day of its release and its collections improved on the second day. The film minted ₹3.04 crore on Saturday taking its two-day collections to ₹5.99 crore.

It remains to be seen how the film fares on Sunday. If "Fugly" manages to hold well on Sunday, it might earn around ₹10 crore in its opening weekend.
