"22 Jump Street," the sequel to "21 Jump Street" starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as Jenko and Schmidt has been getting some rave reviews from both fans as well as critics.
The story is similar to "21 Jump Street," where two cops go underground to find the supplier of drugs in high school. Nevertheless it manages to tickle the funny bone of audience.
The movie opens with Jenko and Schmidt trying to bust a drug ring. However, they fail in their mission prompting Deputy Chief Hardy (Nick Offerman) to send them back to doing what they do best.
"Same identities. Same assignment. Infiltrate the dealer. Find the supplier," Hardy says, adding that this time, they are going to go undercover in a college. In the midst of doing their job, the two are forced to work on their relationship, at one point questioning if they can ever have a mature relationship.
"Boasting even more of the bromantic chemistry between its stars -- and even more of the goofy, good-natured humor that made its predecessor so much fun -- 22 Jump Street is the rare sequel that improves upon the original," stated a review on Rotten Tomatoes, the review aggregator, which has given the movie 83 percent on the Tomatometer.
On Twitter, too, "22 Jump Street" has been getting rave reviews from the audience, and a majority of them feel that it is a must-watch for the weekend.

Although the sequel is proving to be a hit, Tatum recently said in an interview that he cannot think of doing a third one.
" I don't know, man. It felt so natural to do the second one because it felt like "Of course, why not? You have to go to college." I don't know where the third one would go. It would have to be like…actually, I physically cannot even dream of something that would make sense, he told Entertainment Weekly.
Talking about their amazing chemistry, Tatum said that they were once on a plane ride from Mexico to New York with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, and he felt he and Hill were probably the cuter couple.

"It was kinda strange. I was like, are we the cuter couple? If I wasn't with my wife and Jonah had lady parts, I would probably ask him out," Tatum joked, while Hill added, "If sex doesn't come into play, I would definitely want Channing as my partner."
