Mani Ratnam to Direct Chiranjeevi's 150th movie

If the reports in circulation are to be believed, Ace movie maker Mani Ratnam are going to be wielding megaphone for Chiranjeevi's 150th film.

Apparently, Chiranjeevi may be a huge fan of Mani Ratnam's kind of filmmaking and forever had the desire to team up with him. Especially, the iconic actor is really impressed with the way Mani has designed the character of Kamal Haasan in Nayakudu and Rajinikanth in "Dalapathi" apart from the Mother-Son bonding during this flick. Some how, things did not fall in place for delivery these two stalwarts along yet.

Sources say, Mani Ratnam truly thought of making a multi-starrer that includes Mahesh babu, Nagarjuna, Aishwarya Rai and Shruti Haasan. However, each Mahesh and Nag walked out of the project as they weren't happy with the means script has formed up. At the time once Mani is thinking on his next move, a proposal to direct Chiranjeevi's 150th Film has fallen in his lap. If everything falls in place, the magic combination of Chiru & Mani might happen!
