Telugu film industry announced holidays on April 30th and May 7th to facilitate its members to exercise their vote. Film shootings will not happen on both the days and film theaters will remain closed up to 6 PM on both the days. A decision on this was passed by the Producers’ Council unanimously a short while ago.

It is known that the elections to Assembly and Parliament in Telangana and Seema Andhra will take place on April 30th and May 7th respectively. The elections in Tamil Nadu are going on today and a similar decision was also taken by Kollywood there.
