Pooja Hegde, who flew down to Mumbai to cast her vote on April 24, is now demanding that there be another day for voting in Mumbai. Now, that's because the actress has apparently learnt that around six lakh people were unable to exercise their right to vote as their names were not on the voting list.
Pooja was happy that she voted and much like other celebrities, put up a selfie with the inked finger. Now that she has learnt that names have gone missing from the final voting list, Pooja made such a demand, saying, "I demand another day for voting in Mumbai for all those six lakh people who couldn't vote because their names magically disappeared from the voting list!"
In fact, the actress, who flew back to Hyderabad immediately after casting her vote to shoot for Oka Laila Kosam, is now urging everybody to check if their names are on the voting list. "Everyone who's yet to vote, please check if your name is on the website of the Election Commission beforehand... many names have disappeared..."
