South Indian singer cum dubbing artist Chinmayi Sripada, who is gearing up for her marriage with actor Rahul Ravindran on 6th of May is promoting charity.

Chinmayi and Rahul will tie the knot in a low-profile wedding ceremony at a city-hotel. Infact the yet to be married new couple requested guests to donate the amounts to the 17,000 ft Foundation, a charity organization in Ladakh instead of bringing gifts.

Chinmayi's mom, Padmhasini said: "A flower bouquet today costs 500 and what happens in weddings is that they are forgotten once the ceremony is done. So, we wanted to make it more meaningful and decided to request guests to donate to this cause instead of spending on gifts. We have also mentioned the same in the invite as well."
