Here it is. Finally, Rani Mukerji has tied the knot with Aditya Chopra. The long awaited wedding has finally took place in a small intimated gathering.

The lovebirds tied the knot last night in Italy.

Movie critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji got married last night on 21st April in Italy. The wedding was a very small intimate affair.”

The relationship continued for long and they were a part of each other’s celebrations every now and then.

Also here is Rani Mukerji's first statement after marriage. This was posted by Taran Adarsh.

 Rafiq Gangjee, vice president (marketing and communications), YRF, said in a statement, "We are happy to announce that Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji got married last night. The wedding was a very small intimate affair with very close family and friends."

We wish the couple a very happy married life," Gangjee added.

For Aditya, who is the elder son of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, it is his second marriage. He was earlier married to Payal Khanna.

RANI MUKERJI'S STATEMENT:

"I would like to share the happiest day of my life with all my fans all over the world whose love and blessings have been part of my journey all these years.

I know that all my well-wishers who have waited for this day will be really happy for me. It was a beautiful wedding in the Italian countryside with just a few of our close family and friends with us.

The one person I missed terribly was Yash Uncle, but I know he was there with us in spirit and his love and blessings will always be with Adi and me.
