Congress Campaign Committee chief for residuary state of Andhra Pradesh Chiranjeevi has reacted on the reports of his showbiz peer-superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni's meeting with BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi.
Quickly reacting on Nag-Modi's meet, Chiru told media persons, "Anybody can meet anyone. It's a small thing. Especially, celebrities meeting Narendra Modi on an issue or Rahul Gandhi on another issue is need not be given much importance. To me, this is another passable subject."
Although Chiru trying to dismiss this issue as small one, fact of the matter remains that Nagarjuna is keen to campaign for Narendra Modi in the future interests of Telugu people. This is not a "small thing" as quoted by Chiru. The Akkineni scion is going to meet Modi today at 4 PM in Modi's office at Ahmedabad. Venkaiaha Naidu's personal secretary Satya is accompanying Nagarjuna Akkineni during the visit.
Chiranjeevi went on to say there isn’t much importance to Nagarjuna’s meeting with Narendra Modi. He said he wouldn’t comment on the Tollywood actors motto behind meeting BJP’s prime ministerial candidate.
