After Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR and Ram Charan, 50-year-old star Balakrishna is all set to join the Rs 50 crore club in T-town if collections of his latest offing Legend sustain and re-invent his sagging career. The scion of Nandamuri family had more flops than hits, in his career, but when he scored a hit, it turns into a blockbuster, says a distributor. After 44- crore plus Simha, he returns with a bang and his action adventure sets cash registers ringing and ended dry run at the box office in the last few weeks. "It had been very bad for Telugu film in the last 2 monhts but Balakrishna has brought back crowds to theatres across the state and it is the first film to register housefuls in Detroit and few US regions, besides rocking Karnataka, " he adds.
It is good chance for Balakrishna to touch the enviable 50-crore mark, riding the 11 crore openings and the collections are only improving than dropping. Despite being just a rehash of Simha, director Boyapati impresses the fans of Nandamuri. "It will definitely surprass Simha collections. Lion is back caption lives up to film's collections," a noted distributor told.

Andhra: 18 crores (including 3 croes from Guntur, 3 crores from Vizag, 2 crores in Nellore and 2 crores in East and 1 crore in West)
Nizam: 12 crores, riding on 3 crore openings on first two days.
Ceded: More than 10 crores, riding on 3 crores openigns in first 2 days.
Overseas: Expected to touch 2.5 to 3 crores on good openings.
Karnataka: Sold for 2 crores and expected to collect Rs 4 to 4.5 to crores to surpass his previous hits.
