It has been sometime since ace-filmmaker Maniratnam announced his new project, which is a multi-starrer and is touted to star Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu. But it has been unclear for some time now as to who will be the leading ladies of this film.
In fact there were almost confirmed reports of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan making a comeback with this project and she would be casted opposite Nagarjuna in this film.
According to the latest buzz we get to hear that Aishwarya Rai will not be a part of this project and instead Asin might take over as the female lead opposite Nagarjuna. And Mahesh Babu’s leading lady will be Shurti Haasan. We wonder why Aishwarya has backed out or replaced as reports suggest.
It is a known fact that Maniratnam has not found commercial success in the recent past and is in fact going through a rough patch. Is this a reason why Aishwarya has opted out of the film?
