Critically acclaimed director, national award winner Neelakantha is coming up with a movie titled Maaya. Made on a low budget this film has done decent pre release business. It is releasing on 1st of August. The trailers of this film are creating interest among film buffs.
However those who have seen the trailers of Maaya are saying that it is heavily inspired from Hollywood thriller series Final Destination.
Heroine seeing the incidents that happen in the future looks to be inspired from Final Destination. But Neelakantha has given his own spin to the idea by adding a murder mystery to it. .
Neelakantha didn't find any success after Missamma, but he has been making some impressive films like Nandanavanam 120Km and Virodhi. Let's see if Maaya could find him commercial success besides critical acclaim.
