The trailer of Sonam Kapoor's much-awaited film, "Khoobsurat" is finally out.
The film featuring Kapoor as 'Mili' and Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Afzal Khan as 'Vikram' is a remake of the 1980 film with the same name starring Rekha.
Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film is based on a modern romantic love story of a fashion clumsy physiotherapist and a handsome Rajput prince, who is engaged to someone else.
The promo looks quite interesting with style queen Kapoor in a complete style-disaster character. But the actress, however, carries herself well.
Apart from the lead actors, the cast of the film includes Ratna Pathak Shah, Kirron Kher, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aamir Raza Hussain and Aditi Rao Hydari in pivotal roles.
In the two-minute trailer, Shah looks like a status-conscious woman and Kher plays the character of Kapoor's cool mother Manju.
Going by the promo, the film looks colourful, vibrant and a fun ride with mixed characters and Kapoor in never-before-seen personality, thus making the movie a must watch for the movie lovers.
"Khoobsurat" produced by Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banners UTV Motion Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films Company, is slated to hit the theatres on 19 September.
Ahead of the unveiling of the theatrical trailer, the makers went on to release two official posters of the romantic comedy entertainer. In the poster, "Raanjhanaa" actress looks different with the royal family, thus making a complete 'royal misfit' with the handsome prince.
The trailer has already created waves among her fans on Twitter, who are now eagerly waiting for the comedy flick. Additionally, Bollywood celebrities too are raving about how the Kapoor star has pulled off the look so impeccably.
