Ekta Kapoor Legal Notice To Drishyam Filmmakers | Ekta Kapoor alleged Drishyam Makers!

Drishyam makers have received a notice from renowned Bollywood filmmaker Ekta Kapoor for copying the content of a book penned by japanese author Keigo Higashino.

Ekta has apparently stated that the Drishyam makers have copied the plot from a book titled ‘The Devotion Of Suspect X’, for which she had bought the film rights. It was recently, Ekta and her team watched the superhit Drishyam and shocked to see the adaption from the Japanese novel.

Malayalam blockbuster novel Drishyam is being remade in Tamil with kamal Haasan and Gauthami, while Mohanlal [Malayalam], Venkatesh [Telugu] with Meena are BO hits.

Jeethu Joseph is the director for Tamil and Malayalam versions and Sri Priya did it for Tollywood audiences. Kamal Haasan started shooting for Drishyam Tamil remake from July 18.
