Good news for Government employees of Seemandhra. Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Monday approved the decision to raise retirement age from 58 years to 60. With Assembly giving its nod for the AP Public Employment Amendment Bill 2014, this new amendment is coming into force from this very month itself.

It can be recalled that Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu had promised to raise the retirement age of government employees during his poll promise. Soon after sworning as the CM, Babu made his signature on the file and things fall in place swiftly. With this, employees who are going to be retired from this month can continue their service for another 2 years.
