It has been conform that, Andhra Pradesh state bifurcation becoming a reality and Telangana is all set to be a new independent state from June 2,2014. Rumors are doing the rounds that the Telugu film industry will move out of Hyderabad.

From the source we heard that, many in the industry are planning to pack bags and move to Vizag, as many stars, directors, technicians, among others, come from Seemandhra.

But Tollywood Yuvasamrat Akkineni Nagarjuna brushing off the rumors said that such a move will not happen, at least in near future. He pointed out that though the Annapurna Studios was established in 1974 it was only in the early nineties that film professionals migrated to Hyderabad. He added that just moving the industry out of Hyderabad won’t help in making movies, after all the capital is immensely blessed with good labour and technicians.
