Looks like Chiranjeevi is all set to make his much awaited comeback to the silver screen playing a freedom fighter. It has emerged that the Megastar's 150th film will be based on the life and times of Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy, a village chieftain who lead a rebellion against the British in 1846.
A native of Uyyalawada, in Kurnool district, Narasimha Reddy is believed to be one of the first freedom fighters in the history of freedom struggle in India. Refusing to accept the British rule after the Nizam surrendered the Rayalaseema region, he lead what is believed to be one of the first revolts against the Raj in pre-independent India.
Legend has it that Narasimha Reddy commanded an army drawn from 66 villages belonging to Cudappah, Anatapur, Bellary and Kurnool districts and staged an armed uprising against the British forces.

Apparently, Chiranjeevi has been dreaming to do a film on the freedom fighter for a long time. Buzz is that VV Vinayak will be directing the movie which will be based on some incidents from the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
