Tiger Shroff's "Heropanti" is dominating the domestic market, but in international market Tamil and Telugu films "Kochadaiiyaan" and "Manam" respectively are ruling.
Overseas Box Office
Shroff starrer "Heropanti" has opened to a tepid response in international market except for UAE-GCC circuit. In its opening weekend, the film directed by Sabbir Khan raked in approximately ₹2.14 crore.
The foremost weekend total of "Heropanti" is less than that of regional films "Manam" and "Kochadaiiyaan".
Nagarjuna starrer "Manam" which was released only at the US box office raked in ₹4.96 crore, while Rajinikanth starrer "Kochadaiiyaan" raked in a whopping ₹12 crore from international market.
The UAE-GCC circuit has performed the best among other centers. It raked in ₹1.78 crore (AED 1,112,000) from UAE-GCC.
Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan starrer "The Lunchbox" has now crossed the US-Canada business of "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani". The film which is running in 13th week, has raked in around ₹18.84 crore from the US and ₹2.94 crore from Canada box office.
"After crossing #RamLeela, #Krrish3, #Race2 and #JaiHo in USA-Canada, #TheLunchbox crossed the biz of #YehJawaaniHaiDeewani yesterday. Wow," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Domestic Box Office
Shroff's debut film "Heropanti" has hit ₹25 crore mark in India in just four days. The masala entertainer produced by Sajid Nadiadwala has entered into a safe zone, after earning the production cost of around ₹25 crore within four days.

The film also starring newcomer Kirti Sanon has maintained a very strong hold at the domestic box office. Since there is no other Bollywood film this week, "Heropanti" is expected to have a decent week.
Following the success of the film, the lead actors Shroff and Sanon visited a temple in Mumbai to offer prayers to thank god. The film marks the debut of both the lead actors.
When father Jackie Shroff was asked about the success party of the film, he told Bollywood Hungama: "Hum toh soch bhi lein par Tiger just wants to relax for a few days now (laughs). I guess that's his idea of fun times since he is not into night life."
Hollywood film "X-Men: Days of Future Past" also registered strong four days theatrical run in Indian markets. The film directed by Bryan Singer has raked in ₹19.60 crore from India.
