Pan Indian actress Sridevi Boney Kapoor who made her comeback with Hindi movie 'English Vinglish' has given her nod to play one of the key roles in Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming Tamil film to be directed by Chimbudevan.

Earlier, Sridevi was approached by many Tamil filmmakers to pair opposite the likes of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, but the actress had denied the offers for reason unknown. This time Sridevi has been floored by Chimbudevan's script and immediately said yes.

Untitled Cimbudevan film is expected to be a fantasy movie to be produced by Vijay's Pro PT Selvakumar. As way2movies reported viewers earlier, Bharathiraja will be playing a vital role in this movie.
