Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan seems to have failed to attract the people of Telangana with his new party Jana Sena. T protagonists and even the actor's fans are unhappy with his remarks that he was dissatisfied with the method adopted by the Centre to divide the state. They view his opinions as something akin to TDP and YSRCP, who are being regarded as villains in the Telangana story.
Pawan Kalyan targeted the Congress and the TRS, which played a crucial role in the formation of the Telangana state, Telangana JAC leader S Satyanarayana told TOI.
"He was choosy about his criticism. He targeted the Congress and the TRS, but left out the TDP and the YSRCP," he pointed out.Local TRS leader Sekhar asked that if the actor was so concerned about the problems of the region, why did he not speak on youths committing suicide for the cause of Telangana.

However, some fans, while admitting that the actor lacks clarity on T issue, said they would support him nonetheless. "We will support him as we believe he will put an end to corruption in public life and fight against unethical and undemocratic politics. Pawan will make a big change in the state politics in the near future," a fan said.
But some others very cautious. Srinivas Reddy, who played a vital role in strengthening PRP in Nizamabad district, said a number of people had entered politics believing in Chiranjeevi and had spent huge amounts with the hope that the mega star would bring major changes in politics. "They lost everything with the merger of PRP with Congress," he said.
