When she was young, Shruti Haasan was addicted to a cartoon show, Jem and the Holograms. The show revolves around a music company owner Jerrica Benton, her singer alter-ego Jem, her band the Holograms, and their adventures.
After a long hiatus, the TV show is now being made into a movie and Shruti Haasan is on cloud nine about this development.
"Best news in ages! So excited!!! My most fav cartoon ever!!! (sic)," Shruti Haasan posted on her micro-blogging page, soon after she heard about the movie adaptation.
