The last few days, speculations about Jagapati Babu playing Ram Charan's father's role in director Krishna Vamsi's next film had been doing the rounds. It turns out it isn't happening. When contacted the actor responded with a "Big No."
It is learnt that the filmmakers did approach the actor with the role but Jagapati Babu politely turned down. Apparently the actor is not ready to play father roles yet and is concentrating on taking up powerful character roles.
Since Jagapati Babu announced that he is open to playing character roles he has been flooded with offers from filmmakers who are looking for a replacement for actor Srihari.
But the critically acclaimed actor is also nursing ambitions of playing baddie in Bollywood films as well. So will be interesting to see how he fares in this new phase of his career.
